Communications Coordinator
For over a decade, Atlantic Group [v] of Companies has been Melbourne’s unrivalled leader and specialist in events and hospitality. Widely known as the challenger of industry norms through innovation across corporate events, offsite catering expertise and restaurant cuisine and bar ambience. Due to continued growth an exceptional opportunity now exists for an experienced Communications Coordinator to join the marketing team.
As a communications professional, you will assist in a variety of exciting projects and help coordinate targeted and innovative PR campaigns and driving proactive media opportunities to support our diverse range of 12 award winning hospitality and event businesses across 2 locations- Central Pier Docklands and Crown Entertainment Complex. In addition, you coordinate our social media platform working with 7 brands via Facebook, Twitter and blogs and manage the content for 6 company websites. With excellent writing skills, you will prepare and distribute media releases, manage photo opportunities and assist with launches, media pitches and queries.
Along with experience in the hospitality industry, you have a background in communications and pride yourself on your exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You have the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. In order to be successful in this role you will be well organised and have the ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously whilst ensuring you meet the specified deadlines in this fast paced environment. Due to the nature of this position, the working week is Tuesday- Saturday, with some evening work required.
